Living a life purpose

Today Lord, all I can say is thank you for your faithfulness in my life, thank you that you are a keeper of your promises. You have kept me alive all these years and I have lived to see my fiftieth birthday. You have blessed my life with abundance in all areas and my heart is full of joy. My heart is full of praise and thanksgiving for all you have done. Father, I thank for the things you have helped me achieve in my life until this point. I would not have done them without your help. You have been an ever present help when I needed you the most (Psalm 46:1). Father, I thank you for sustaining my life through the battles, disappointments, challenges. You have been leading me and holding me by your victorious right hand. Father, I thank you your presence through all the loss I have endured in my life. You have been my source of peace and comfort. Father, I thank you for your healing that has freed me from sickness and diseases. I would not have pulled through without your words of assur...

Sometimes, it’s easier to focus on what we don’t have, rather than what we do have. So on this special day, I am taking time out to remember all of the things I am thankful for that I might have taken for granted. The beautiful world He created and gave me dominion over Being the daughter of the most high God God who loves me warts and all His love that endures forever His presence for He says He will never leave me Jesus Christ who died for my sins so I can have a relationship with God the Father Gift of faith. I know that I have been made right with God  because of my faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I don’t have to earn my way to heaven His Word that guides me, comforts me and gives me hope. His words that will not return empty, but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it. He is a promise maker and a promise keeper. On my morning walk I saw something that made me stop in my tracks. It was an amazing sight - a single rose thriving and flourishing in a thorn bush.  I stopped to take a picture and after I took the picture, God spoke to me. God said like that rose you will flourish in difficult times. Nothing can stop my plans for you - not unemployment, sickness or death. My plans for you can never be stopped by any external forces because I am the all powerful God.  Do not fear whatever circumstances you find yourself in because I have already won the battle. So arise,  thrive and flourish like that rose. You just have to believe and trust in my love, faithfulness, grace and goodness towards you. Dara, I have many so many great memories but the best memory of all was the first time I finally got to hold you. You were so small with tubes in and out of you. Your chance of survival was low and the doctors didn’t think you will make it, but God had other plans. You were such a fighter, you fought a hard battle and you won. With God’s help you overcame all obstacles and here we are today celebrating you at 21 years. You are still a fighter because I know the struggles and fears you face every day and your determination to overcome them. Today I celebrate you. I celebrate your determination to survive and thank God for his miracles and making it happen. I celebrate your perseverance and thank God for the strength He has placed in you. I celebrate your bravery and thank God for the courage He has bestowed upon you. I celebrate you and thank God for the joy He has placed in you. Just what I needed to hear. A whisper from God My daughter you are never alone, don’t allow your feelings to trick you. Don’t  trust your feelings that always changes, trust my words to you that is true and never changes. I am holding you by my victorious right hand. I am guiding you through and moving you towards victory. You just have to be brave and courageous.

My son Dara is 20 years today. As I look back today, my heart is so full of joy and hope because I know the Lord has great plans for him. Dear Father, thank You for this special day that You chose to be the birthday of this my dear and special child. Lord You scheduled every day of his life from before he was born and have watched over him, and Lord how I rejoice to see him growing up day by day and reaching another milestone in his young life.  Watch over him I pray and look down on him with Your love and favour. Lord, I ask that as he faces a new year with new opportunities and challenges that You would enable him to grow in wisdom and favour with God and men as he learns to trust in You Lord, with each passing day. I pray for blessings and joy over Dara. You knew everything about him before his birth and You have a plan of prosperity and hope for his life! Let him feel confident and ready for the year ahead knowing that You have an order to his steps and a purpose for his lif...

The present moment is not perfect, it is painful but I know God is present and this brings me comfort and encouragement. It Strengthens me to do what needs to be done and go through the day with courage “We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan.” Romans 8:28 This I am confident God works - even though I cannot see it, He is busy behind the scenes working everything out God works for the good - Not for my pleasure or comfort but for my ultimate good God works for the good of those who love Him God works in all things - the good, the bad, the easy things or difficult things. He doesn’t make the plan as He goes along because nothing comes as a surprise to him and he is never out of control. “In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,” Ephesians 1:11 ESV He works out everything in conformity...
