My daughter you will flourish

On my morning walk I saw something that made me stop in my tracks. It was an amazing sight - a single rose thriving and flourishing in a thorn bush.  I stopped to take a picture and after I took the picture, God spoke to me.


God said like that rose you will flourish in difficult times. Nothing can stop my plans for you - not unemployment, sickness or death. My plans for you can never be stopped by any external forces because I am the all powerful God. 

Do not fear whatever circumstances you find yourself in because I have already won the battle. So arise,  thrive and flourish like that rose. You just have to believe and trust in my love, faithfulness, grace and goodness towards you.

My daughter I have called you to a life of abundance.

“But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.”

Psalms 92:12 NLT

Life has a funny way of revealing what’s really inside us. Imagine this: you’re walking back from the office kitchen with a cup of coffee. Someone bumps into you and—splat!—coffee everywhere. God’s Word is a gift that renews the mind. At the dead ends of life, in the darkness we never saw coming, His Word steps in like a bright light cutting through every shadow.
