Living a life purpose

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” (Matthew 28:6) These words are more than a moment in history, they are the foundation of our faith and the heartbeat of hope for a broken world. The resurrection of Jesus is not just a miracle; it is the ultimate proof that God keeps His promises. What seemed like defeat on the cross became victory in the empty tomb. For the women who came to the grave, despair turned into awe. For us today, that same truth still speaks: death is not the end, hope is alive, and new beginnings are always possible. Because He lives, everything changes—our pain has purpose, our future has hope, and our faith has a firm foundation. The resurrection reminds us that even in our darkest moments, God is still at work. The empty tomb is not just a symbol, it is a declaration: Jesus is alive, and because He lives, we can live with renewed faith, courage, and joy. It is both a powerful symbol and a constant reminder that God always keeps His promises.

Life has a funny way of revealing what’s really inside us. Imagine this: you’re walking back from the office kitchen with a cup of coffee. Someone bumps into you and—splat!—coffee everywhere. You spilled coffee because coffee was in your cup. If it had been tea, tea would have spilled instead. That moment teaches us something powerful: when life bumps us—through challenges, stress, or unexpected situations—whatever is in our hearts tends to spill out. That’s why Paul encourages us in Colossians 2:6-7 to live rooted in Christ: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Being “rooted and built up in Him” means our hearts are filled with Christ’s love and strength. Wow—26 years! Where has the time gone? As I reflect on the incredible journey so far, I’m filled with gratitude, pride, and awe at the young man my son has become. The first ten years of our journey were filled with discovery. I was navigating the world of raising a child with a learning disability and on the autism spectrum. I threw myself into countless training workshops, determined to understand the unique and wonderful person you are. I wanted to equip myself with the right tools to be the best mum I could be for you. It wasn’t easy, but I thank God for His wisdom, His guidance, and the amazing friends He placed around me during those formative years. The next two years were a battle—one I fought fiercely within the education system. I was determined to ensure you had every support needed to thrive. Abba Father, life is a precious gift from you and I am thankful and full of gratitude for all you have done for me. You've blessed me, You've kept me under the shadow of Your wings, You've watched over me, You've provided for me, You've been my source of strength, You've never left me, You've comforted me when I was in pain, You've encouraged me when I was worried, You've filled my heart with joy when I was sad. All that I am today and all that I will ever be in life, I owe it all You.
