Living a life purpose

Abba Father, life is a precious gift from you and I am thankful and full of gratitude for all you have done for me. You've blessed me, You've kept me under the shadow of Your wings, You've watched over me, You've provided for me, You've been my source of strength, You've never left me, You've comforted me when I was in pain, You've encouraged me when I was worried, You've filled my heart with joy when I was sad. All that I am today and all that I will ever be in life, I owe it all You. Today, I begin another year with confidence knowing You hold my life in Your hands.  Lamentations 3:22-23  The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

I was listening to a song today and it served as a reminder of God’s love for. I really needed to hear it because my puny mind cannot comprehend the extent of God's love and that He is so mindful of me.  I am mindful of you. I love you. You are imprinted on the palm of my hands. I know the number of hairs on your head. I am with you and I will never let you go. The enemy will like you to think you are going through challenges because God doesn't love you. That is the lie of the enemy. God’s words says He loves us, God’s actions shows He loves us. Regardless of whatever you are going through now, never doubt the love of God. My daughter,  How you perceive Me does not change my love for you, does not change who I am and does not change what I say. 

Today Lord, all I can say is thank you for your faithfulness in my life, thank you that you are a keeper of your promises. You have kept me alive all these years and I have lived to see my fiftieth birthday. You have blessed my life with abundance in all areas and my heart is full of joy. My heart is full of praise and thanksgiving for all you have done. Father, I thank for the things you have helped me achieve in my life until this point. I would not have done them without your help. You have been an ever present help when I needed you the most (Psalm 46:1). Father, I thank you for sustaining my life through the battles, disappointments, challenges. You have been leading me and holding me by your victorious right hand. Father, I thank you your presence through all the loss I have endured in my life. You have been my source of peace and comfort. Father, I thank you for your healing that has freed me from sickness and diseases. I would not have pulled through without your words of assur...

Sometimes, it’s easier to focus on what we don’t have, rather than what we do have. So on this special day, I am taking time out to remember all of the things I am thankful for that I might have taken for granted. The beautiful world He created and gave me dominion over Being the daughter of the most high God God who loves me warts and all His love that endures forever His presence for He says He will never leave me Jesus Christ who died for my sins so I can have a relationship with God the Father Gift of faith. I know that I have been made right with God  because of my faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I don’t have to earn my way to heaven His Word that guides me, comforts me and gives me hope. His words that will not return empty, but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it. He is a promise maker and a promise keeper. He promises to work all things together for our good. God’s faithfulness God is in control and the purpose of the Lord that will ...

On my morning walk I saw something that made me stop in my tracks. It was an amazing sight - a single rose thriving and flourishing in a thorn bush.  I stopped to take a picture and after I took the picture, God spoke to me. God said like that rose you will flourish in difficult times. Nothing can stop my plans for you - not unemployment, sickness or death. My plans for you can never be stopped by any external forces because I am the all powerful God.  Do not fear whatever circumstances you find yourself in because I have already won the battle. So arise,  thrive and flourish like that rose. You just have to believe and trust in my love, faithfulness, grace and goodness towards you. Dara, I have many so many great memories but the best memory of all was the first time I finally got to hold you. You were so small with tubes in and out of you. Your chance of survival was low and the doctors didn’t think you will make it, but God had other plans. You were such a fighter, you fought a hard battle and you won. With God’s help you overcame all obstacles and here we are today celebrating you at 21 years. You are still a fighter because I know the struggles and fears you face every day and your determination to overcome them. Today I celebrate you. I celebrate your determination to survive and thank God for his miracles and making it happen. I celebrate your perseverance and thank God for the strength He has placed in you. I celebrate your bravery and thank God for the courage He has bestowed upon you. I celebrate you and thank God for the joy He has placed in you. Just what I needed to hear. A whisper from God My daughter you are never alone, don’t allow your feelings to trick you. Don’t  trust your feelings that always changes, trust my words to you that is true and never changes. I am holding you by my victorious right hand. I am guiding you through and moving you towards victory. You just have to be brave and courageous.
