God loves us warts and all

God’s love for us is constant and it never changes.
God’s love for us does not depend on what we do or do not do.

Ephesians 1: 4-5 says that long before he made the world, God loved me and chose me in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.

We don't have to work for God's love, we already have it. It is such a relief to know that despite the mistakes we make, despite our shortcomings, God will always love us.

How comforting is that? To know that God's love for us is irrevocable.

God loves us warts and all.

Life has a funny way of revealing what’s really inside us. Imagine this: you’re walking back from the office kitchen with a cup of coffee. Someone bumps into you and—splat!—coffee everywhere.
