Owing my mistakes
A lot of mistakes happen in our lives and we disregard or refuse to own it. This is not the best nor the healthy way to deal with our mistakes. We need to own our mistakes and hand them over to God so we can let go, learn and heal.
I used to blame my ex-husband for everything that happened and refused to see the mistakes I made or accept and own my own mistakes.
My mistake was I allowed someone else to make my decisions for me. I totally lost my identity, I lost who I was because I allowed some else decide who I was, what I wanted, what I wanted to do or say and how to live my life. I gave away the power God gave me and the person God made me to be.
My mistake was doing nothing. Doing nothing is not making a decision, sitting back and pretending not to see what is going on is not going to fix the problem, pretending things will get better without doing anything is not being honest with yourself
Passivity didn't help me, it made me sad and suicidal. You have to accept what is going on make a choice to do something about it not wishing the problem away.
