Four reasons we should not fear

God will provide

We should be confident in God’s provision. He has promised to supply all our needs - emotionally, spiritually and physically. We should find contentment in His provision. Contentment is not getting what we want but contentment is wanting what we already have. 1 Tim 6:6-8 says “Yet true religion with contentment is greatest wealth. After all we didn’t bring anything with us when we came into this world and we certainly can carry anything with us when we anyway. So why should we fear when we know that God is more than capable to meet our needs or the needs of those we love. The deepest needs of our heart can only be met by Jesus Christ.

I will not fear for I know all my needs will be met by God.

God is with us

We should be confident of his presence. We don’t know what we are going to face from one day to the next but there is one thing we can be sure of; God will never leave us. SWe will not be afraid because we are not going to face anything alone. So why should we fear when God’s has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us. It means that He will never abandon us and He will not give up on us. Believe in the authority of God’s word. When the devil comes and knocks at the doors of our hearts, we can simply say “Jesus please go answer the door”

I will not fear for I know that I am always in the presence of God.

God never lies

We should be confident of his promises. Remember God promises and who made these promises to us: the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent God. So why should we fear when we know God can never lie. He will always do what he says.

I will not fear for I know that God never lies.

God protect us

We should be confident of his protection. God is our shield so we will not be afraid of what mere mortals do to us. Psalm 121:5-8 “The LORD is my keeper; the LORD is my shade on my right hand. The sun shall not strike me by day, nor the moon by night.  The LORD will keep me from all evil; he will keep my life. The LORD will keep my going out and my coming in from this time forth and for evermore. So why should we fear when we can boldly say that the Lord is our protector.

I will not fear for I know that God is my keeper.
