PURPOSE #5 – I Was Made For A Mission - MISSION

 Day 36 - Made for A Mission

I was made for mission. God wants me to have a mission in the world. My mission is my service to unbelievers. My mission is being sent into the world as a representative of Jesus Christ and introducing people to Christ. Ignoring my mission will be disobedience and God holds me responsible of other unbelievers who live around me.

Ezekiel 3:18 - You must warn them s they may live. If you don't speak out to warn the wicked to stop their evil ways they will die in their sin. But I will hold you responsible for their death

Day 37 - Sharing My Life Message

When I became a christian, I also became God's messenger. God wants me to bring others into his family using my life message. My life message has four parts


  1. My testimony - how I began a relationship with God and how He has made a difference in my life
  2. My life lessons - the most important lessons God has taught me
  3. My godly passions - what God shaped me to care about the most 
  4. Good news - the message of salvation. God loves us so much that He sent His son to take upon our sins and die on cross so He can have a relationship with us.God wants us to spend eternity with Him in heaven. So when we accept what Jesus Christ did on the cross, ask him to forgive our sins and accept him as our Lord and saviour we start a brand new life in Him.


Day 38 - Becoming A World-Class Christian

I have a choice to make. I can either be a world-class christian or a worldly christian.

Characteristics of worldly christians 

  • They are self centered
  • Their prayers focus on their needs, blessings and happiness
  • They are more interested in how God can make their life more comfortable

Characteristics of a world-class christian

  • They know they are saved to serve and for a mission
  • They are eager to be used by God
  • They want to make a difference in people's lives
  • They wake up each morning expecting God to work through them

How to think like a world-class christian

  • Shift from self-centered thinking to others thinking
  • Shift from local thinking to global thinking
  • Shift from here and now thinking to eternal thinking
  • Shift from thinking of excuses to thinking of creative ways to fulfil my mission

Note to self - To be a world-class christian you must have the heart for the whole world

Psalm 67:2 - Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and our eternal plan for all mankind.

Day 39 - Balancing Your Life

I have to succeed in all the five areas of God's purposes for  my life

Love God with all my heart. My purpose is to love God through WORSHIP

Love my neighbour as myself. My purpose is to show love for others through SERVICE and MISSION

Go and make disciples. My purpose is to share God's message through EVANGELISM

Baptise them. My purpose is to identify with his church through FELLOWSHIP

Teach them to do all things. My purpose is to grow to maturity through DISCIPLESHIP

Ephesians 5:15 - Live life with a due sense of responsibility, not as those who do not know the meaning of life but as those who do.

Day 40 - Living with Purpose

Now I  know what God wants me to do, the blessings  in actually doing it

My life purpose is to make Christ the center of my life - love him, worship him, serve him, grow to become more like him and lead my family and others to Him so they can do the same.

 What will be the center of my life - Christ will be at the center of my life and I will keep him there through worship

What will be the character of my life - I will develop Christlike characteristics through discipleship. I commit to cooperating with the Holy Spirit so he can transform my mind by the renewing pf my mind. Read the bible and practice what I read. I want to develop the fruits of teh spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control

What will be the contribution of my life - I will use my spiritual gifts and my abilities in teh area of my heart and in a way that best expresses my personality and my experiences to serve God.

What will be the communication of my life - I will share my testimony through mission. I will raise my son u to know Christ. I will share my testimony with women going through infidelity and divorce. I will share my testimony with my family

What will be the community of my life - I will demonstrate my commitment to others by loving them and show them Christ by loving them.

Acts 13:36 - For David served the purpose of God in His own generation

What’s in Your Cup? Learning to Overflow With Thankfulness

Life has a funny way of revealing what’s really inside us. Imagine this: you’re walking back from the office kitchen with a cup of coffee. Someone bumps into you and—splat!—coffee everywhere. You spilled coffee because coffee was in your cup. If it had been tea, tea would have spilled instead. That moment teaches us something powerful: when life bumps us—through challenges, stress, or unexpected situations—whatever is in our hearts tends to spill out. God’s Word is a gift that renews the mind. At the dead ends of life, in the darkness we never saw coming, His Word steps in like a bright light cutting through every shadow. From the very beginning, God’s voice has always made a way where there seemed to be no way. At the edge of the Red Sea, when the Israelites were trapped between deep waters and a relentless enemy, God spoke — and the sea opened. His voice carved a path through the impossible. “Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.” — Psalm 77:19 That is who God is. His Word doesn’t always explain every detail, but it always guides. It doesn’t always prevent the struggle, but it never leaves us to face it alone.
