Living a life purpose

His word confirms that He chose us before the foundation of the earth. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:4 The Message) We have to realise how precious each one of us is to the Lord. It is so important that it should be imprinted in our hearts. We should always remember that: He had us in mind before he made the world He settled on us as the focus of his love He desires a relationship with us He always wants the best for us Why should we worry or doubt God’s love for us when we know all these things. Be rest assured we are special to God, relax and bask in the Father’s love.

You are there with me in my sleeping You are there with me in my waking You are there with me in my breathing You are there with me in my living Lord because you are with me I will not fear You are there with me in my hurting You are there with me in my breaking You are there with me in my weeping Lord because you are with me I will be comforted You are there with me in my hoping You are there with me in my waiting You are there with me in my watching Lord because you are with me I will not be discouraged I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. (Isaiah 46:4 NLT)

As you look back at 2014, you will remember all the things you were believing God for that still haven't happened. You might try to reason it out and make sense of it but you can't. Instead of getting frustrated or discouraged, trust that God is working on it because He is a God who is faithful to keep His promises. Do not allow the enemy steal your joy by focusing on those things you are still believing God for but focus on all the things God has done for you in the year 2014. Do not start the New Year off with frustrations. Do not carry bitterness into your season of new beginnings. Trust God and believe He is working things out for your good. Keep on believing, keep on praying, keep on trusting and keep on hoping. Let go of what didn't work out in 2014 and get ready for the new season God has for you in 2015.

Genesis 19:15-16 At dawn the next morning the angels became insistent. “Hurry,” they said to Lot. “Take your wife and your two daughters who are here. Get out right now, or you will be swept away in the destruction of the city!” 16 When Lot still hesitated, the angels seized his hand and the hands of his wife and two daughters and rushed them to safety outside the city, for the Lord was merciful. When I read this I was dumbfounded by the reaction of Lot. God sent him a message that everyone in the city he was living in will be destroyed, so he should leave. What did Lot do, leave. No, he hesitated even though he knew the consequences of staying. Why did he hesitate, was he afraid of the unknown, did he not trust God. God was still merciful to Lot, God’s angels seized the hands of Lot and his family and rushed them to safety. God challenged me that I also do this. His thoughts of me outnumber the grains of sand on the beach He sees the worst in me yet still believes the best of me My sins of yesterday and my failings in the future do not surprise him He knows them all He knows me better than I know myself In spite of everything, God still loves me

I will never be rejected by God because my relationship with Him is not based on my performance but on Christ I will never be rejected by God because my relationship with Him is not based on my conclusions, feelings or thoughts but on Christ sacrifice I will never be rejected by God because my relationship with Him is not based on my works but based on what Christ did on the cross.
