Living a life purpose

A lot of mistakes happen in our lives and we disregard or refuse to own it. This is not the best nor the healthy way to deal with our mistakes. We need to own our mistakes and hand them over to God so we can let go, learn and heal. I used to blame my ex-husband for everything that happened and refused to see the mistakes I made or accept and own my own mistakes. My mistake was I allowed someone else to make my decisions for me. I totally lost my identity, I lost who I was because I allowed some else decide who I was, what I wanted, what I wanted to do or say and how to live my life. I gave away the power God gave me and the person God made me to be. My mistake was doing nothing. Happy Birthday Mom. I can’t believe the last time I spoke to you was nearly 28 years ago! Time slips by and life goes on, but from my heart you are never gone. Not a day goes by when I don't think about you - I think about what you will have said or done in certain situations. I remember all the many lessons you taught me.
