Learn to wait

But I am trusting you O Lord, saying, You are my God. My future is in your hands Psalm 31:14-15a  God knows what I need, when I need it. God knows how to do it and how to get it to me. God will do it in His own time, not in my own time; God will give me what I need, not what I think I need God will do it and get it to me in His own way, not the way I think He should do it God has a set time for accomplishing things in my life and He will do it in His own time and not in my time, so I must learn to wait. Move do not hesitate

At dawn the next morning the angels became insistent. “Hurry,” they said to Lot. “Take your wife and your two daughters who are here. Get out right now, or you will be swept away in the destruction of the city!”  When Lot still hesitated, the angels seized his hand and the hands of his wife and two daughters and rushed them to safety outside the city, for the Lord was merciful. Genesis 19:15-16  When I read this I was dumbfounded by the reaction of Lot. God sent him a message and told him that everyone and everything in the city he was living will be destroyed so he should leave. What did Lot do, leave. No he hesitated even though he knew the consequences of staying. Why did he hesitate, was he afraid of the unknown, did he not trust God. But God was still merciful to Lot, God’s angels seized the hands of Lot and his family and rushed them to safety. God challenged me and told me that I also do this.
