Jehovah El Roi – The God Who Sees Me

She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: 'You are the God who sees me,' for she said, 'I have now seen the One who sees me.' — Genesis 16:13 (NIV)  Hagar was in a wilderness—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She felt rejected, forgotten, and alone. Yet in that lonely place, God met her. He didn’t just see her circumstances; He saw her heart. When Hagar called God El Roi, she declared a truth that still speaks to us today: God sees you. He sees your tears that no one else notices. He sees your efforts when you feel overlooked. He sees your pain when you feel misunderstood. And He sees your potential when you feel like giving up Jehovah El Roi is not a distant God.
