Move, do not hestiate
Genesis 19:15-16 At dawn the next morning the angels became insistent. “Hurry,” they said to Lot. “Take your wife and your two daughters who are here. Get out right now, or you will be swept away in the destruction of the city!” 16 When Lot still hesitated, the angels seized his hand and the hands of his wife and two daughters and rushed them to safety outside the city, for the Lord was merciful. When I read this I was dumbfounded by the reaction of Lot. God sent him a message that everyone in the city he was living in will be destroyed, so he should leave. What did Lot do, leave. No, he hesitated even though he knew the consequences of staying. Why did he hesitate, was he afraid of the unknown, did he not trust God. God was still merciful to Lot, God’s angels seized the hands of Lot and his family and rushed them to safety. God challenged me that I also do this.
